Since 1970, The North Ward Center has been delivering quality services to the people of Essex County and City of Newark. Today, the North Ward Center operates five major institutions;

The North Ward Center is located in the former William Clark House
that was built in 1879. The nationally registered historic
mansion and its impressive grounds run from Mt. Prospect Avenue
to Clifton Avenue.
