Founded in 1970, The North Ward Center is a non-profit community development organization that delivers quality services in Newark and Essex County.
The Center runs five institutions with a common purpose: to provide educational, cultural, and meaningful social services to low and moderate-income families who reside in the greater Newark community.
Our operating principle is to offer fiscally responsible programs that build the foundation for an economically viable community.
