Family Success Center
Programs
The North Ward Center (NWC) – Family Success Center (FSC) is a collaborative effort with the following: The Department of Children and Families (DCF), Division of Prevention and Community Partnerships (DPCP), the City of Newark, and ten other Family Success Centers throughout the City of Newark. The primary objective is to effectively provide and/or refer participants to services needed by a child, parent, or family.
The North Ward Center plays a regular and significant role in the community’s daily experience. Through the North Ward Center, we are able to teach our children, care for the elderly and disabled, and provide adult training services. Clearly, the full impact of services and resources for children and families in the City of Newark and Essex County areas are available and high in demand. Our dedicated, loyal, and professional staff will be able to strengthen individuals and families through these service referrals. The North Ward Center provides the resources to empower families, so that they are able to succeed to the best of their ability within their surroundings.
The NWC – FSC has formed a permanent bond with some productive and diverse cultural and educational institutions within the City of Newark, County of Essex, and numerous other Family Success Centers in the State of New Jersey.
